The Leez Organics site was commissioned to highlight the range of services and products offered by an independent consultant for Neal’s Yard Remedies Organics. The brief was to produce a small, simple site with a clean design and a contact form for potential clients to use. A simple PHP script sanitises and forwards on the form data to the site owner. As well as the site we also designed the logo, various posters and marketing materials, compliments slips, headed paper and set up Twitter and Facebook accounts that complement the look of the web site. The site is hosted by us on our server and includes email addresses (with a web mail interface available) and mailing list software set up for use.
This is our latest project and is still under development. This is an established business of many years standing with a dedicated customer base that has been trading for many years and has decided to now offer an online ordering process. So far work has included designing the branding, implementing an e-commerce solution and much work with the graphics and photographs of the various products and arrangements on offer. Again the site has been linked to Google etc and Google maps used to define the geographical reach of the business. Some PHP work has been carried out as well as hosting the site and associated email addresses.
This is an ongoing project to develop a sister site for the fish and chip shop in Scarborough. Lynda wanted a simple site to advertise her counselling services to prospective clients. The site had to comply with standards set by the counselling regulators. The site was added to the major search engines and Google Analytics is being used to optimise the site and boost it’s ranking within the search results. It features a custom PHP script to sanitise submitted contact forms and to minimise spam emails.
Gimmeshooz is a very popular kids shoe shop in Billericay. They had no web site at all and had decided it was time to go online. A small website, linked to the major search engines and Google maps, was created to provide basic information about the retail shop and a fully featured e-commerce solution was implemented using OpenCart to allow online purchasing. OpenCart was extensively customised to reflect the design of the shop and heavily modified with extensions to add functionality and the desired usability for customers and administrators alike.
Great Waltham School is a popular infant and primary school situated just outside Chelmsford. The school site needed to host a range of information that could be easily updated by the school staff and easily accessed by those visiting the site. The school office is very busy and staff did not have time to update the website with the many different letters and documents that were produced for distribution each day. In order to make it as easy as possible to get files on to the website and to keep them synchronised with the office copies Dropbox folders were integrated into website and installed on the office computers meaning that files saved locally in the office were replicated onto Dropbox and immediately available via the website. The site runs on WordPress with a heavily customised fully responsive theme and incorporated the schools Twitter feed.
Probike Training is one of the countries leading motorcycle training schools with students from both the UK and overseas attending their dedicated training center in Chelmsford to attend basic, advanced and instructor courses.
The old website did not do this professional company justice and did not really highlight the quality of their courses. A new site was designed and implemented after an analysis of how the site could support and promote the business. A twitter feed was incorporated to allow communication with customers and potential trainees. A significant amount of graphic work was involved as well as various videos explaining the complex process of gaining a motorcycle license in the UK.
After deployment Google Analytics was used to see how customers were accessing and using the site. This identified that certain areas were being accessed more than had been anticipated at design time and so these areas were enhanced to provide more information and to generate more bookings.
Great Waltham and Ford End PCC approached us as they wanted a fast, professional and well designed site to showcase the work of the Church and the facilities on offer for weddings, funerals and christenings. As the site needed to be updated by multiple users at various sites it was decided to use WordPress to power the site and to heavily customise a template to create a bespoke design.
The site is fully responsive and hosts a variety of different features such as sliders and forms. It is still in the very early stages of development and will grow over the next few weeks as more content is added and additional features developed.
